In addition there are 8 Issue-Based or Community of Interest Forums (Women's, Faith Community, Housing, Youth Forum, Children & Young People, Safer & Stronger Communities, Healthier Communities, Employment Enterprise & Training).
The Fora provide an opportunity to discuss local issues and concerns and to action outcomes, and results to ensure the continuation or improvement of services to one of the most diverse communities in Greater London. The Fora continue to focus on bringing about some change to the way things are done locally and an improvement in the quality of life for local people.
Community groups, voluntary organisations and local residents are encouraged to get involved and be a part of this exciting, challenging and rewarding local initiative. This is your opportunity to voice your concerns, raise the issues that matters to your community and ensure that they are taken to the local decision makers for some action and outcomes. These are your forums; you've created and taken ownership of them, so your continued support is essential as we continue the process of empowering local people and improving the quality of life for all members of our diverse communities.
All forums meet quarterly. If you have any specific issues or concerns for the forums to consider, please contact Horatio Morgan on 020 8748 6345 or by e-mail horatio.morgan @ vsra.org.uk
