About the Organisation
History
CaVSA H&F is the local Council for Voluntary Services (CVS) organisation in Hammersmith & Fulham. The organisation started out as the Voluntary Services Resource Agency (VSRA) and was incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee on the 26th November 1997 and formally registered as a charity on the 18th of August 1998.
VSRA began operations in January 1999, with the appointment of a Director and our first staff. In 2007 we changed our name to the Community and Voluntary Sector Association H&F and amended our constitution to reflect this change.
Over the years the organisation has provided a range of services but at its core the services we provide are:
- Infrastructure support to third sector groups and organisations, including training, information, advice and support with governance, fundraising, project planning etc
