Children's Third Sector Partnership
The Children’s Third Sector Partnership (C3SP) is a new initiative supporting the statutory sector to deliver better services for children, young people and families. It is made up of local voluntary community and social enterprise organisations that deliver a broad cross-section of services to children and young people aged 0-19 years (and up to 25 years in the case of disabled young people) and also their parents / carers.
The C3SP Board consist of 11 Third Sector members elected by the Children’s Third Sector Network (C3SN) plus an equal number of statutory representatives from the Police, Health, LBHF Children’s Services and other Council Departments. The Board meets quarterly, enabling a regular dialogue to take place between the statutory and Third sectors towards improving outcomes for local young people.
Third Sector members of the Board elected 2 representatives of the Children’s Trust Board. The overall objective of C3SP Representatives is to promote the sector’s views and influence the implementation of the Children and Young People’s Plan.
