1 SEP. The Internet Advertising Bureau. The trade body for digital marketing has launched a free guide to help not-for-profit organisations make their websites easier to find. Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the process of making websites easier to find using internet search engines, such as Google. The document, Search Toolkit for Charities and Public Sector , includes case studies from high-profile charities such as Oxfam, explaining how it increased awareness for a campaign through the use of SEO.

1 SEP. Listening to the views of H&F Homes residents on the future of their housing services.H & F Homes are consulting tenants and leaseholders on satisfaction with their home, the services currently provided, what improvements they would like to see, and to get their views on the proposed changes on how Housing Services will be managed from 1 April 2011.

17 AUG. Grassroots Grants funding is now available only in Hammersmith & Fulham and Wandsworth. The next closing date is 24th September 2010. 2010/2011 is the final year of the Grassroots Grants programme. You can now apply for Grassroots Grant on-line. 12 AUG. Expired passports now accepted as evidence of right to work. From 2nd August it has been decided that if you are an employer you can accept indefinite leave to remain in an expired passport as evidence of right to work. Under the current legislation, employers must see evidence of a prospective employee's leave to remain in a valid passport. More info at Workplace Law Network.

9 AUG. Child protection database to be switched off. A £235m government database containing the records of England's 11 million children is being switched off. Read more on the BBC Website.

9 AUG. More than a Library. Given the success of the new Shepherd’s Bush Library at Westfield the Council is proposing to use it as an example for the future of library services in the Borough. There will be three Open Days for you to speak to staff and get to know more about what is being considered:
